Fps has been lower than usual.

I have recently been playing more racing games instead of beamng and when i came back my fps had dropped by about 10. I have a 4060 which can get about 60 fps in wcusa but since mine is the laptop version it gets about 50. This drop has made it so that if I spawn traffic my fps gets to the point where the game is almost unplayable, This is in vulkan since it is the faster api for my computer. I play all maxed out and if i cant fix this soon can someone reccommend me some balanced settings for my gpu?




edit: i did a cache cleaning which fixed it, the reason i didnt say this in the post is because the other times when i did it it did not fix it so the fact that it did now is weird but ok.


edit:2 i believe that it has something to do with thermal throttling so i have planned to get a laptop cooling pad specifically the iets gt600


edit 3: its back again and i did yet another cache cleaning which had the fps at normal before it dropped back down 10 fps like i said
