Found a sound bug - ground models

I've complained before about sound becoming very poppy/broken and just discovered that if I change my 6-lane drag race to collision type ROCK, within 20 seconds the sound breaks completely halting the game. If I change it back to asphalt, there's no problem at all!

One important thing to take note of: My drag strip is a combination of asphalt AND whatever other surfaces are used in the video. It's painted 50/50 so the car will have more grip less grip more grip less grip, adds to the randomization of each drag start. Instead of 100% asphalt, it's painted asphalt, then at 5% pressure painted over with stickier asphalt. I assume the rapid change between both surfaces and 6 vehicles doing it, is what's causing this, but. . . it's happening none-the-less =)

 

Thanks for your report, this could be related to an actual fmod bug that has been fixed recently by the fmod team.
The fix/updated fmod will be part of the next major update.
