My Fanatec CSL Elite behaves strangely when enabling force feedback in Beam.NG. I tried following the ffb setup guide, and some searching the forum/the internet but couldn't find any similar issues. Moreover in other games (e.g. ACC) the wheel works just fine, so the issue seems Beam.NG specific.

This is the problem: The wheel seems to have 2 centerpoints, both not in the middle but around +10 degree and -10 degree. When I am testing in freeroam, stopped on parking brake, the wheel likes to sit at either of these angles, but not centered at 0 degrees. When pushing the wheel slightly over 0 degrees it will jump to the + or -10 degree mark. When pushing it further than 10 degrees it will return to that 10 degree point. This behavior happens with max strength at 20%. If I increase max strength to 100% then oscillations start as the wheel is overcorrecting between the two centerpoints. When I go back to main menu then the wheel centers just fine at 0 degrees.

Things I tried: Restarting the game didnt help. Inverse force feedback tickbox didnt help. Angle is set to 1080 degrees, which should be correct for this wheel. Reduce strength at low speed only masks the problem at low speed.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I can make a video if that makes it more clear.

Is Centering Spring, Damper and Spring effect turned off in the wheels driver settings? If all that has been done, try creating and using a Response Correction Curve for your wheel using WheelCheck.
Here's a link to the BeamNG wiki page for explanation.

After switching off the 'drift', 'spring' and 'damper' in the wheel settings and enabling inverted ffb in beamNG it now works like it should. Thanks a lot :)
