    Hello people,

This thread is to discuss about food and share pictures of what good stuff you cooked (or eaten eventually).
Whether you are a hidden Master Chef, or a student cooking instant noodles, feel free to post here.

    • Bonus points for posting a photo/video of what you cooked.
    • Even more if you show some typical dishes/food of your country (specify the name).

    Quick rules:
    - Keep discussion simple, easy and nice
    - Don't post stuff images you haven't took yourself
    - Don't go offtopic/spam. General forum rules apply.

    Cooked some mini pizzas:

Turned out pretty good, just tomato and some cheese on top.

I like to cook pasta fro time to time, here's some Carbonara I made a while back
    IMG00284.png
nothing special, just used supermarket sauce/bacon and pasta

That said I made this while in Japan (using ingredients I bought there), in Australia the sauce we have is nowhere near as good:(
might have to search around a bit...

    Ah, nice thread.
I like cooking a lot, I dont have many pics though :(.
My favourites are: Carpaccio, Chocolate Mousse (different flavours), sushi and general stuff like a good steak, fish and BBQ'ing when the weather allows it.

I will try to find some pics on my phone later
    Carpaccio:

I need to eat small meals, often, due to a chronic medical condition, so food in my average morning usually looks like this:

Does throwing stuff on top of Tortilla and putting that to pizza stone count as a cooking?

That makes nice low calorie quick pizzas that is enough easy to make with my low attention span, sorry for not having pic.

5-6 minutes baking time at 225C, not too much stuff or wet stuff, top layer should be cheese.

I do bake regular pizzas sometimes too, also breads, meat pockets and all of such, but tortilla pizza is basis of my diet.

I once tried to bake a Victoria Sponge cake for me and my family....let’s just say it didn’t end well and somehow ended up all mushed up in the oven.

I'm currently making a chocolate cake
I will add some custard after the cake has finished cooking.

    Update: Final results!

Bit crappy pic of Tortilla pizza that I mentioned earlier:
upload_2018-2-23_21-3-4.png Using paper saves a lot of cleanup and you can reuse paper several times.Under that paper is pizza stone which does help with flavor.

Even worse pic of rustic toast I made:

In Lebanon(my second nationality-i'm semi-arabic xD) we have a "powder" that is a mix(Za'atar) of three ingredients:
    -Oregano(Origanium Vulgare)

    -Sesame Seeds
    upload_2018-3-7_13-30-37.jpeg
-And the magic, a seasoning called "Sumac"(it gives food a mild acid taste)

It's so nice you can do sandwiches(i do some perfect ones) pizzas(manakeesh) or spicing food with it.

    Za'atar manakeesh(the blackand white-ish spots are the Za'atar)

    Hey, that’s me, haha! (*´∇`*)

I have instant ramen quite frequently. It’s quick, easy, and tasty. I also like to add meat, spices, vegetables, and other stuff to the noodles, usually just whatever I have on hand.
    998D8CE4-654C-4F2C-94E9-3E53A69D4695.jpeg 1C838095-FBF8-4210-86BD-D6655E91AE3A.jpeg

I don’t really cook all that much though, at least nothing complicated. I also bake sometimes, but nothing too complicated either. Some of the posts on this thread are making me really want to try to cook something fancy though, haha! (*^ω^*)

    I’d probably fail terribly... (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
