    Hi all,
I saw some flowers on East Coast USA and I really want to use those in my map, but I couldn't find them in the forest editor.Where are those, I really need them! (Otherwise I need to custom import some others, but I'm lazy xD)

It is likely part of the grass terrain. If they go away after setting the grass patch where the flower is to something else, it is likely part of the terrain texture.

Did you copy the meshes over?

Well, copy the Grass entry to your map and see if it works. I don't know if you can copy that from one map to another...

Did you change all the paths?

In theory, you don't need to copy every mesh and texture because it's already included in the game.

    take a look at levels\east_coast_usa\art\forest\managedItemData.cs

You can copy this file and things should show up in the Forest Editor. You need to respect the path so the only difference is the folder of your Map.

Ps: I'm not sure but you may run into issue with materials file if you don't copy everything, so if you have the famous orange no texture, copy what you need and change the path in the .cs file

it isn't in the forest editor. It's a ground cover. It's in east_coast_usa/art/shapes/groundcover. You have to associate the ground cover to a ground texture

Thanks! Is there a way to place it in a brush or place it as an object?

yes but you have to create an objet/ a mesh with this texture, i think, if you want to make "forest objects", and follow the method explain by thomatoes50 (i've never done this, i'm not sure)

you can also create a new ground grass texture with this fowers as ground cover and paint this new ground where you want
