Re: Help with GTA IV Mods LCPD:FR uses an installer and most script mods such as the lights one are simply drag and drop. Just check the readme file of any mod you download and you'll be fine, they're normally very descriptive.
Re: Help with GTA IV Mods ^ That basically and replacing vehicles is pretty easy as well with OpenIV.. Also there are tutorials on youtube that should help you a lot.

Re: Help with GTA IV Mods Ok I have spent about 5-6 hours and finally the mods work, however I can only seem to be in game from 1-15 minuets without it crashing. Why?
Re: Help with GTA IV Mods Try this file. It might cure your game crashing problem. (it helped my IV out no more crashing.) place this file in your main GTAIV directory. You might need to go into the file and adjust to your screen size.

That is good and GTA IV has a habit of crashing with mods! Which is why I don't run many on my PC, I normally run a Trainer, indicator's, Minimap and a car pack
