Apologies if this has been answered. I am new to Beam. I looked around off and on for the past few days with no luck.

I am trying to create a ai race on the west coast map. My problem is the ai will follow my custom race path for about 90% of the lap, but the other 10% they try to follow the existing ai traffic paths on the map. Is there anyway to force the ai onto my race path during a race mission? Maybe a way to remove or adjust the map's ai traffic paths just within my race mission? Similar to adding objects with the prefab, but the opposite. Removing existing objects in a race mission from the map. Maybe a script?

Currently the only way I can figure out how to make it work is to create a duplicate of the west coast map but with the ai traffic path's removed. That seems kind of silly to me though.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this has been solved but other people may run into the same problem. I believe you need to unselect autoJunction. Hope this helps.

I am still looking for a solution. I don't have time to check now but I'll post my findings when I get a chance. Thanks for the advice.

    Anytime.

I was also working a track where the ai would turn around and try to follow another route to the next checkpoint. What was happening was the ai was looking 1 checkpoint ahead of the next checkpoint. Because the following checkpoint was on another road, it would try to abandon the road it was on. The fix was adding more checkpoints to the road I wanted them to stick to. Think of it as leaving the breadcrumbs closer together until they have no choice but to follow your path.

    Best of luck!

In my testing unselecting "auto junction" makes the ai NOT take my specified path at all. I need a way to force them onto my path and only my path. This is kind of the opposite.

Not possible afaik. Only solution would be to delete the default path (and save level). You can also try to save your race path as a prefab, but even when I included the default road in a prefab giving it 0 drivability this did not work because it is alway overwritten.
