I realized today that this car is missing a thread, so here it is.

The ETK 800 Series is a modern German compact executive car. Currently available only as a wagon (854/856), it can be had with a range of 4- and 6-cylinder engine options, both gas and diesel. The 800 features struts in front and a multi-link suspension setup in the rear. It also has perfect 50/50 weight distribution, making for excellent, balanced handling.

Wouldn't a German executive car have a finely tuned double wishbone setup in the front? Just saying.

You'll have to ask BMW about that ;) The 3-series has struts in front.

IMO, the front bumpers on both ETKs are a bit too easy to deform. Hit a bump in the road at speed, and bam, ruined front bumper.

its closer in size to the 3 series than a 5 series bmw, so, yeah, gabesters point may stand ;)

Yeah, there are already 84x badges in the badges texturemap, too.
It doesn't say 83x or 82x anywhere though, so the coupe, fastback and convertible won't get pointless ;).

I agree. Those bumpers need more strength.

I guess the the coupe version would be the ETK K-Series :(

@gabester I saw a V8 exhaust in the ETK 800's vehicle model, does this mean that there will be a V8 engine added somewhere in the future?

IMO the differences are big enough, and the coupe is almost finished anyways :).

So what's up with the extra bulb in the headlight assembly? It's oddly positioned, and doesn't light up at all.

    Cornering lamps

When you turn it lights side of corner. It's mounted in lots of modern cars i.ex. my father's Hyundai i40, but it's old invention.

    Citroen did it

The headlights turn with the steering wheel through a simple cable. I wish companies now had this kind of ingenuity.

Sure as I said it's old invention, but this which you show is different story, this are just "mobile" headlights, and you'll not see ahead of you while you turn, also it can blind another drivers ahead of you and is pretty missleading, because we are used to stationary lights so from opposite side it may looks like you spun out or something. Also not practical when you try to park. Cornering lamps, lights only when you turn and were mounted first in 80's IIRC. You can see them everywhere in Europe in cars 2010+.

    Delete it from \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\etk800

Then find the game in your steam library, right click, select properties, select local files, and click "verify integrity of game cache". It should download the car again.

Those are meant to be parking lights, according to the mesh:

856ttS+ was a bit slower than I thought, I did a 8:37.7 with the automatic version of it(in manual mode though), went a bit wide on Eschbach.
The fastest station wagon on the 'ring is Mk3 Leon ST Cupra 280 which did a 7:58.1; and 856ttS+'s competitors are all faster than it somehow. But 856ttS+ is really stable even with traction control off on the track, it can pass corners smoothly.
And 7, 8th are useless on race track, you can literally reach the top speed with 6th gear

Lap times of 856ttS+'s main competitors:
    C6 RS6 Avant: 8:09
    W212 E63 AMG Wagon: 8:12
    Mk2 CTS-V Wagon: 8:12
    E61 M5 Touring: 8:13

    And I guess one of the main reason is the under-powered engine: the ETK's high-performance 3 Litre Twin-turbocharged In-line 6 can only pump out 327hp. While F10 M5 has 563hp, W213 E"63" AMG Wagon has 577hp and C7 RS6 Avant has 607hp. Maybe gabe will move the V8 for K-Series to 8-Series ttS+ version when it's ready?
