WIP ETK 200 Series

Hi all . Today i decided to do an experiment with the ETK 800: Make it as a hatch. So that's what i did. And this is the result, which i called 200 series:



For now, im working on the mesh. Then, i will start the unknown area for me: make the jbeams. Hope i can finish it and share with all of you

 

Awesome man! It's starting to look like the ETK's family of vechicles is growing!

 

Looks like, no, it HAS great potential. I hope to see this in Beamng in the future. The game needs another compact hatchback other than the Covet with a little more comfort and power.

 

Well, i hope i can solve the two problems i actually have I completed the roof and I fixed some mesh problems (small holes on the body)

Im very surprised about how easy is modify a jbeam for this type of modification . I have all the structure done! (It needs some improvements):

As you can see on the screenshots, i have problems with the wheels, they spawn in their original location and they stall. I need to investigate a bit

 

The rear window (and passenger area) is waaaaay too small for anybody to actually fit in there. I'm assuming you want a 4 seater, so I'm suggesting you to have a look at these examples:


P.S.: Also keep in mind that the doors have to be slightly longer in order to facilitate the access to the rear seats

Anyway, i dont plan to do anything more than make the short version of the 800 series. Maybe on the future, but this is just an experiment which i decided to post just because i liked how it was looking

 

that would just be an 800, so congrats, goal achieved

 

the 800 is bigger i think you wouldn´t consider a 800 a hatck or would you?

That's actually a very good idea! Imagine an ETK 100 Series, since Smart is owned by Mercedes there could be something like:
Clever™ 100 Series by ETK

Well, a modern car. I was thinking Fiat 500 size. Although; the ETK 200 will be plenty enough.
