Reinstalled the game, userpath_override does not exist on regedit, edited startup.ini. All of the mentioned before did not work.

A few days ago I deleted OneDrive and trasferred all my files to my users folder, that includes the documents folder that had BeamNG. However, it only had a cloud thing and the game itself is installed correctly in another folder that IS NOT the documents folder from OneDrive. BeamNG is installed locally in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive," and the versions are in "C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive"

How do I fix this? I don't have any restore points and just want to play my game. All my other games on steam work perfectly.

I also tried to delete every single file related to BeamNG and do a completely fresh install, as I just had bought it. Deleting everything related to BeamNG through the registry. Nothing, the same error. Even with installing Steam all over again. I've installed BeamNG 5 times now with the same error.

I am seriously considering a refund.

I already contacted support and nothing. I contacted them again and went a little bit more specific. Can you remember how you fixed it?

The last thing I could try is to load one of the betas and then use that documents folder for 0.29.

Nvm, got this thing to work.

Just load beta 0.14 and use that same documents folder. Update BeamNG to the current version and it'll ask you to replace the files. Solved.
