I flipped my car over and exploded it, and tried to see how long it endured the oil starvation and temperatures whilst revving it. The engine block reached around 700C, and it melted. However the engine was still able to run for another 30 seconds or so. Is this a bug? If not, I am really interested to know how it is possible for it to keep running.

    Thanks

According to the code it should instantly stop working unless you have a completely unrealistic amount of torque that is able to withstand 200000N of internal friction caused by the melted block merging with the pistons and stuff.
