Engine seize bug (imo a bug)

    So when you get the dreaded rod knock, as soon as you let off the gas, it dies. It doesnt always happen in real life, example >, So i think this is a bug, unless it is coded to do that and will always be like that..

    Ok so i was in the sunburst and i didnt even let off the gas and it died as soon as the connecting rod bearings went.. how did they get it to idle with the bearings shot in the official vid they made?

    There is a point of no return.
    If you damage the engine to a certain point, it will just keep heating on till it dies. In the video the car stopped before that point.

    Engine seizing and the ticking from the bearings aren't actually related that much. Both happen when you overheat your oil, but in theory you could seize the engine without damaging the bearings and vice versa.

    Ok, That makes sense and all with the seizing, but since the only way (that i can find anyways) to make them go, is to over heat the oil? How did you guys do it in this video? Go to 0:35
