Most modern cars have speed limiters

I wish that in the config menu you could deactivate or activate it it would make a difference if your car could only do 300 or 350 and ruin the engine;)

Um, speed limiters/governors were made to prevent an engine from over-revving the engine and basically keep it at optimal levels, like literally the car's ECU/computer limits how much fuel's going into the engine and has the transmission (if it's an auto) be in the proper gear so that it'd keep the revs low and of course, the obvious different gear ratios would bring the car to the speed it's limited at. It's like even if I'm flooring the pedal, governor wouldn't allow the engine to rev up that high anyway, and that's also another thing why alot of cars have rev limiters as well.

Some cars have overall speed limiters as well, often to protect the tires. My Sunbird has one at 108 MPH to protect the tires, a lot of German cars have one at 155 MPH as part of some gentleman's agreement plus a secondary limiter at 186 MPH to prevent blowouts, JDM cars have one at 118 MPH as part of a gentleman's agreement, etc.

    You're talking about rev limiters...
And you don't even know about what you're talking about.
Removing the speed limiter would not ruin the engine... Removing the rev limiter would and in fact it does allow the engine to self destruct.
Speed limiter is just for the saftey sake.

I think for example he wants to force a car not to be able to go past a certain speed limit no matter what. If ur in a 50 zone, you "activate" the engine limiter and no matter what your car will go as fast as 50
