Email Confirmation for Two-Step Verification is not working properly

    For several months, I've been relying on Email Confirmation for Two-Step Verification to increase the security of my account, and it worked without any issues. Recently, however, the email confirmation isn't working when I logged in and waited for my one-time use code to show up on my email, but it didn't arrive even after I waited for hours. Thankfully, I was able to log in after using an alternative method.

    I thought I should share this experience to everyone and ask the following question for the moderators to answer: why is the email confirmation method not working as it should have anymore? This problem might affect some users that are only relying on Email Confirmation in order to log in to the forums. If I didn't have any alternative methods to log in other than Email Confirmation, then I would have been a victim of this issue as well.

    It just works fine for me. Probably just an isolated case related to external factors :\

    Edit: we are checking anyway btw.

    It seems like the issue is only affecting me (and likely nobody else), but I'm certain that the email confirmation isn't working for me (for some reason) since the 23rd. The last time it worked fine was on the 21st.

    Additionally, I disabled Email Confirmation and tried to enable it again; it asked for a one-time use code sent to my email as always, but I still didn't receive the email for it, so maybe it might be my problem. Looks like I'll be sticking to other verification methods for the time being.

    I'm wondering what you meant when you mentioned "external factors". Please explain what might be causing this issue that is only affecting me.

    Is it by any chance in the spam folder?

    I checked the spam folder before, but there isn't anything from BeamNG there. My issue is that I am unable to receive any emails from BeamNG (including one-time usage codes for Email Confirmation) since the 23rd (spam folder or inbox); before then, it worked like every other emails I received (and they end up in the inbox).
    I use Yahoo Mail to receive notifications from BeamNG. I do not know if this issue also affects other email services such as Gmail and Hotmail, because while I do have email accounts on those services, I might have similar or exact issues with Email Confirmation for Two-Step Verification if I change my email address under my Contact Details section.

    I use Yahoo Mail too, but i don't have two-step verification for BeamNG.drive, my best advice would be to contact Yahoo, they might be able to help you, and while you are talking to them you might as well test it.

    We have found an issue that may have prevented some users to receive our mails.
    So check again please.

    I enabled Email Confirmation for Two-Step Verification (after I disabled it), received the email with a one-time use code from BeamNG, and entered the given code successfully in order to enable this verification method. In other words, it is working again.
