I need a .dts to .obj, .dae or anything useful converter. The reason I need it is because the .dae for my mod was corrupted and all I have left is the .dts.
The model still needs to be UVed and textured before being released and due to the next update making .dts files not work I need it as a .dae.

I've tried programs like Ultimate Unwrap 3D and Shaper but each has their issues. UU3D costs $50 which I don't have and Shaper crashes when I try to import a .dts.

Any help would be appreciated as this is my first mod that has worked properly. Thanks.

I cant help much to be honest but since no one has replied i did a little searching.

According to a guy on stack exchange you should be able to do it from inside of Torque3d: http://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/21038/which-tool-can-convert-a-torque-dts-file
A guy here says that shaper is the only option but doesn't have anything nice to say about it: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=157886.0 (use ctrl+f to search and type "import" to see the specific result)

Other than that i couldn't find much. It seems that the .dts files that are used with Torque3d are quite propriety and since not that many people use it and that what you want to do is pretty uncommon there really isn't much out there.

Very detailed information about the dts files that Torque3d uses: http://docs.garagegames.com/torque-...entation/Artist Guide/Formats/dts_format.html
You know, just in case you wanted to convert it by hand :p (or write your own converter, you may also be able to reverse engineer Torque3ds converter or the blender converter linked a bit further up)

So maybe some of that is of use to you. But unless the person on stack exchange was correct you may either have to spend a lot of time or a bit of money, so i guess it depends how much you value the model.
