Driver San Francisco discussion, what you like about the game, what do you want to see in it, screens, etc.

    I want to use blinkers.
    I like the story.

played the living daylights out of that game  I loved the car detail, and the burnouts! I'd like to see a few graphical improvements to prevent it from looking like there is a filter on the screen, but I don't mind it!

I'd like a 'dynamic' gearbox that shifts at 2500 RPM when driving normally, not at max RPM everytime. Or Logitech G27 H-shifter support.

False, a mod exists that puts the car into the garage... It does not explode though, I think the explosion is a special cut seen CGI.
    (mod link: Driver Madness)
    (or wait, wip mod? )

I wish we had manual transmissions. They exist, but you can't shift. :/

it was a fun game for a while, but the 'hollywood' driving style almost spoiled it (the sideways through every corner driving style)

at least it had a delorean!

I love this game. :) You can't play it forever though. I wish I had it on PC though. I have it on PS3 because I had a craptop at the time that wouldn't be able to handle the game. I love the level at the end where you get to send cars flying around... Too bad there isn't a minigame or something for that so you can do it again anytime.

For a simple damage system, the damage in the game looks awesome (especially before I found beamng) and the driving model isn't quite realistic, but definitely good and very fun. I also love that you can drive any vehicle on the road...

I really want a Driver game on the Xbox One. That game was so awesome! The damage wasn't over done. Not having a manual transmission didn't bother me one bit. If a saw a car I could get in it. I loved that. I can't wait for backwards compatibility for Xbox. I played the story 4 times and would still do it again.

I need to play this game again! all I remember is that it was lots of fun.
It had some cool features for the replays, though I never bothered to do a movie with them.

This is one of my favorite games for the PS3. I love it so! All of the streets, cars, and everything else is so amazing! Anyone who hasn't played it, needs to right now. Also, if you enjoy off-roading, try Baja Edge of Control.

I made a thread about Driver San Francisco awhile back.
I have played alot of the driver games. I own Driver and Driver 2 for PS1, Messed around with the GBC version of the first Driver game, and the GBA ports of Driver 2 and Driv3r.

Driver San Francisco is one of my favorite Driver games, Also my favorite driving game of all. Not for physics, but just all the fun in the game... Like the glitch where semi trucks go haywire when destroyed in a certain way, or the invincibility glitch.
There are tons of things to do, and I still have not completed the game 100%... Mainly because I am always driving around town. :3(Drifting, Speeding, Ect, all the things that are called 'fancy' driving.)
I also play games from the grand theft auto series of videogames, but for driving, Driver is the better game in the end(In my opinion. GTA3 era games have somewhat bad driving and GTA IV is like driving a land yacht. Have not tried GTA V yet.)

Its nice to see that the beamNG.Drive community loves other driving games just as much as this awesome soft body physics simulator :)

But in doing so they all lost any uniqueness that they had in IV. IV may have been to far in the roll direction but V is WAY to far in the other direction. Need for Speed feels better.
