Hello mates, I just wanted to tell you about a little known game I discovered a little while back called Dream Car Builder. It's a game where, you guessed it, you build cars. But not in an automation way, I mean you really build them, personally designing the suspension, chassis, and body. It took me many hours to actually make a car that works (you get to drive them / race other people), it's quite the challenge. As I said, it's a little known game, and the community is quite small. I'm just putting this out there because it would be nice to give the game a larger following, because it deserves it. The developer is awesome as well, for example, I messaged him about a bug I discovered in the game. Fast-forward one day, and he's already fixed it. Oh yeah, you can make aircraft in the game as well.
That's a lot like BeamNG. The ability to build whatever you want, drive it and share it with others, softbody physics, sandbox gameplay.
Dream Car Builder is different than Beamng.drive. In DCB you can create your own things, such as steering and the frame, from scratch. Unfortunately, Automation doesn't have that feature (yet). From what I percieve, DCB is a game where everything you can create vehicular components from scratch, while still being in the game. (either im being accurate or just plain ol dumb)
Like this? I'm not a modder, but I have a pretty good idea on how BeamNG works... ... Or maybe I don't...
