Re: My Car Drawing Videos Haven't posted here for a while and here is an update My dad bought me a Graphic Tablet for sketching on the PC. It's very fun but I'm not feeling as comfortable as with a ball-point pen and paper Still learning though and I made a video of me drawing on it let me know what you think of it!
Re: My Car Drawing Videos That's awesome, great to see the progress, keep it up! What tablet is that? I remember getting a Wacom Bamboo many years ago, it used to be so difficult and sometimes frustrating at times, but now i love it and still use it all the time! One thing i would recommend is switch to Photoshop. I know its kind of complicated and unintuitive to begin with, but get a headstart now and you'll be way ahead down the line! Sure Sketchbook Pro is really quick and easy, and can produce some good results, but sooner or later switching to Ps is inevitable, and you'll have to learn everything all over again. Also are you trying different perspectives? Side views are essential, but sketching other perspectives will improve your overall ability and understanding of form. And i know sports/super cars are awesome, but be sure to sketch different types of vehicles too (don't limit yourself to just automotive either).
Re: My Car Drawing Videos Mine is Wacom Intuos, I guess. Yeah it's been about 2 weeks since I got it and sure it is hard to draw on I do sketch other perspectives but on paper for now. Tried them on the tablet and failed miserably You can take a look at this video where the perspective is a bit different Can't do that on the tablet though Also, thanks for the advice.
