This is very weird. The doors on all the beamng cars won’t open. At first, I thought it was the mods, so I ended up deleting all of my mods after a while, but the doors still won’t open. When I launched the game in safe mode, the doors actually did work. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, and i already deleted all of my mods, so what is the issue?

Same problem. They will end up always telling me to hover over the door latch or the handle, but it won't matter, as nothing ever happens. All of the answers and unsatisfactory, all videos are about the mods, and they never tell you how to activate the doors really.

    I FOUND OUT!! Maybe..
Check in your controls for "activate vehicle trigger 1" or something like that. If it doesnt have anything mapped to it, map it to left mouse click. that fixed it for me.

Okay, so did you actually remove all of your mods or did you just deactivate them using the in game repository? Try fully clearing them with file explorer. It's quite possible you have a mod that's breaking this especially if you don't have this issue in safe mode. If that doesn't work verify integrity of game files. If that doesn't work maybe clear the cache and see if that helps. If that doesn't work do a fresh reinstall of BeamNG.

Mods.... it's almost always mods.... You guys can't just migrate all of your .30 mods to .31 all careless and whatnot. What I do is go through them one by one and drag and drop mods from .30 into .31 that I know won't break the game, and then I add in all of the other ones that could possibly break the game checking in between each mod that I move to make sure my game isn't broken. That's the way to do it. Otherwise, when you migrate all of your mods into the .31 folder, you could break your game or break certain features/aspects of the game. Remember, every time there's a major update like this, many mods lose their ability to function as the game is being updated.
