Does the Google Remote Desktop trick still work?

I have to ask if creating a new thread or bumping an old thread is better...

Anyway, I recently re-found this thread:

In my favorites, and was wondering if it still worked. I didn't want to be accused of bumping either.

On July, someone in the thread did say it didn't work, but that might be the Nvidia thing he attempted. If someone with more knowledge can answer, that'd be awesome. I just want this question answered.

Alright then. I’m just wondering how that worked, Neilogical’s multiplayer videos aren’t exact proof, but Tdev said in the thread that he played with a friend across some ocean using Remote Desktop.

Im pretty sure it has something to do with streaming and the host using Multiseat. A few posts explained it.
