This is a nice car but as a citroen fanboy I find it hard that any peugeot could compete against the DS ;p

The DS was definitely controversial appearance wise, but it introduced technology that was easily decades ahead of its time. Not to mention that hydropneumatic suspension made it the most comfortable car in the world, at the time (and maybe even today)

Hey, perhaps the Ds was "Revolutionnary" but the car was so unreliable, those Ds pass a lot of time in garages, The 403 is one of the most reliable you can find,, some with 500 000 Km are still running like new with the base engine !

BTW I would redo this thread, It seems to become popular in like 2 days, and I didn't know that much on this car at the time ...

True if you live in a country with lots of humidity like the UK the suspension just goes to hell really fast. Here in my country it's warm and dry though so it's not much of an issue, most of these old citroens run perfectly.
