Just to clarify things, obviously when i sort of leaved the mod in september 2016 i knew things will get a big messy. I had lot of things planned to do, i also started to model in blender with some good results for an F40 replica but i think that car won't ever happen, one of the things was to fix the main page of the mod adding proper credits to everyone, then life happens and i am not anymore able to do anything relevant and i completely forgot to fix things, that's my fault, not anyone else. @wrinkle345 was a bit angry about that decision because he is trying so hard to work on something big with bigger problems and a name of someone who isn't him in the mod name. The future of the mod is not clear but i will always keep it in the repository even if it won't work, it will get fixed and be back better than ever but we need people, good people to help, sorry for all the expectations thrown away but that's reality and we have to face hit. That's my biggest delusion in life in the last six months, it's clear that when you have half-day occupied by university lesson and the remaining occupied by study there's no time to do anything, i prefer playing rather than developing in free-time. I'm certain someday the mod will get fixed and sorry for the current situation. I'll be available as always for PMs and discussions on this thread
Take your time my friend, BeamNG will be here. We all have lives to live. If I could spend every waking moment of my life learning this stuff I would, but I just can't. I'm not sure what is worse, updates ruining hundreds of hours of work or having to shut the PC down to go to work. It is a fascinating yet aggravating conundrum. No matter what happens in your life you know the priorities that matter and the path to take. Set the lust for creativity as your desert for doing the right thing, and make that your gift to yourself and us. You have set a precedent with your work and efforts, no one will ever forget that. Relax and cherish your work, put it aside when needed and return to it when appropriate.
Djplopper updated Djplopper Mega Pack Mod with a new update entry: . Read the rest of this update entry...
Guys, Narwhal will release the mod soon, do you all live only for BeamNG? you're all going mod for a damn mod, stay calm
100000 Downloads, we will move the party later on, i hope soon, i promise the next update won't be a simple fix, surely it will be something new with a completely new team and probably a new name
The LXi Country Covet is bugged(as well as the Offroad). When you lift up the rear and hold the gas pedal the rear wheels get bigger and then explode.
Umm, I think I found a bug. When using any of the JDM bodies, the steering is broken. There's something loose that falls out when you steer, and the wheels only turn outwards, not inwards. See below for a (very grainy) shot showing a freshly spawned car with the wheels splayed outwards after attempting to turn.
Ooh that is a good question, it was definitely on the 200BX but I couldn't recall if any other cars were affected too. Sorry I didn't mention that bit. Edit: can confirm, the issue seems to be exclusive to the 200BX.
It's because the update reworked all of the bodies to have new suspension geometries. It'll take a lot of work to update all of the bodies/chassis to support this. Thats why this hasn't been updated yet.
Well, the original idea after the wagon removal, was to basically cancel this mod and restart it from scratch with a bunch of professional(ish) community modders. And we got close. Quite a few of them showed their interest in contributing collectively to a truly mega mega pack. But after the group was created, nobody ever responds. So that idea seems to have died faster than it started. So this pack may end up being updated afterall. It will be redone, but I guess not for a long time. If this does get updated, it'll probably be quite a while, since there is just so much to fix. All of the suspensions need to be redone, all of the custom wheels need to be redone, and all of that is far too much work for one single person to fix (me).
