Its set to 1 minute activity time out and the taskmanager resoloution graph is 1minute so there is no activity for 1 minute and yet windows 10 is keeping them spinning, this means that the top one is heading towards 47c and i know thats a tad hot for a hard drive, anyone have this issue? --- Post updated --- C is an SSD and they are all the same, no activity for more than a minute and all of the disks are spinning (except for the ssd)
can you actually feel them spinning? as I said in another thread once before. Advanced power settings, there's an option to allow windows to sleep a hard drive, if its set incorrectly they can't be spun down
C is an SSD and they are all the same, i upgraded to windows 7 (from win 10, so buggy) and it works perfectly, my noisy drives switch themselves off now!
