Dirt Texture on Maps Blank?

For a little while now I've noticed that the standard dirt texture for maps is just showing up black, how can I fix this?

WhyBeAre made a video for that on youtube. It works with other textures that are blank too.

That is a video for Leap of death, but it works for other maps as well.
