Did your beamng crash and suddenly running slower???? THIS ONLY HAPPENED ONCE!

So i was playing the new update, just downloaded, and i was testing out cars on the race track. Kinda role playing with myself. I pulled out the pigeon. That was fun. Then i decided i would go to a map i have that is one big highway forever. That was a big mistake. It was a map from before the recent updates. I started it up. Thats when the problems began. My game started flashing black so i exited it. Then all of a sudden my whole pc was going Lincoln town car speed (Uber slow (like when i say slow i mean slow(like 20000 ping on BF slow))). Worrying for the safety of my computer i opened up task manager to see if the game was still open. my pc was stuck at 28% CPU (Not very good CPU but not bad) and wouldn't move. I was very worried. I almost cried. I hard rebooted it. When it turns on i move the mouse over. It back to normal. Moral of the story.. DON'T, IN THE NAME OF GOD, EVER PLAY AN OUTDATED MAP!!! I put this up to make sure no one else makes the same problem i made.

 

this has got to be the buggiest experimental build ever made to date.

 

Have you tried running it from the application instead of through Steam? My game wasn't running so good but now it runs so much better! I was always questioning my fps

 

Your install is all messed up. Uninstall and reinstall. Steam hasn't been able to properly update the files for the new patch and that's why everybody is having problems. I had some problems with maps loading and random crashing, so I reinstalled and IT WORKS PERFECT.

This is NOT the buggiest update yet, I have not had it crash ONCE while using it. Everything is running fine for me, on 0.3.7.6
