yup In that pic the header color and the wheels are inspired by Blasphemi but the mod is really just a regular gasser, not really inspired by anything in particular.
Welp, I am finally starting to get the hang of UV unwrapping things and mapping textures to them; The headlights themselves need to be remade as for it confirmed a fear I had that they were too small. I am practicing right now, doing simple things to get used to the process, but this should expand into the more serious stuff like the interior. I do not expect to be as good as the devs when it comes to this stuff, but I think we all can agree that some decent textures/materials are better than just solid colors and chrome on their own.
I have experimented with some very basic UVing tonight, and if you saw my posts in Community screenshots today, I also got glowMaps to work on the headlights. The first screenshot is of the new headlights and a shot of the GlowMaps in action. I didn't get a chance to take a screenshot of them off as for I wasn't intending to upload these specific shots to the forums. The next screenshot shows off some of the UVing I did for the back; I made a custom "painted" logo/branding/(whatever) for the tailgate, but this does some strange stuff in a collision. (Right now this is done the same way the badges are done on the official vehicles.) Another new thing is the floor of the bed. Its its own Flexbody for now, as for I didn't want to unwrap the entire bed just for this part. Next up is getting the rest of the lights on the vehicle.
Just a simple tweak to use custom sound created on new audio system on stock engine. I was going to put it on exhaust but sometimes cars have more than one exhaust and that's too much work.
#neverskiplegday And can you people (immature idiots) stop this. Its called "Development Screens" @kaiser imnop You can call it whatever you want.
