You could implement by having 3 nodes at different positions moving away from the bumper.

Give them full strength. When something collides with the farthest node while in either reverse or going under 10 mph, beep at the slowest rate. The middle node, go a little faster, closest node, a solid tone.

    Hope this makes sense

Damn man, that’s cool. You planning on adding it to the modern cars?

Well. But wouldn't it be one time use? I know nothing about BeamNG mechanics except that they are. But for me it seems that if you touch something with the node, it would move it and would show false values(?).

Well, you are more experienced, so you're probably right.

For parking, most modern cars with a rear camera activate it when the vehicle is slow in general, it's just nice to see your rear bumper when you're parallel parking not only when in reverse

you can set nodes to have no collisions, and get an event when they touch a collision triangle iirc

Okay so after finding out that the terrain in this game is weirdly bumpy I just decided to start using a mesh for the road, I've also started trying out some detailing and adding ai to see how it behaves, the roads are a lot more fun to drive on though since before it was like driving on gravel.

But isn't there a carbon fibre texture already in the game? It's called carbonfibre_d.dds

Since I found it too complicated to try and edit an existing vehicle after I screwed up the texture mapping for the two-door Roamer, I've decided to see how much easier it would be to just make a new vehicle. I'm not entirely sure if there's a workflow I should be following to get a better mesh blank than this, but for me at least, it looks okay for the moment.
