Honestly, I think it is a scam, we bearly saw it drive, never saw it go over like 140km/h. Plus, because when they claim it is a car build from scratch, it has corvette C8 frame, supensions and electronics, even on startup you hear GM's ding ding sounds, which basically confirm it is a GM body control module and also that all of the other electronics is GM. So what they have done here is tooked a Corvette C8, slap a twin turbo LS2 V8 (which is probally unreliable as hell compare to a stock LS2 V8), body kitted it and overpriced it. Plus, the V16 is fake. Conclusion, it's a scam and we will never see this car on the roads.
it probably doesn't make 5000 horsepower. And they wrote sixty instead of sixteen on the official Website
I've always thought it seemed scammy, but I didn't know it was a rebodied C8 (with no V16). And the 5,000 hp just screams scam.
You can get it in galaxy store Yes, it totally is, it has C8 interior, electronics, frame and suspension. Even in the video by Supercar Blondie when she start the thing up, you can hear GM's ding ding sounds, which confirm it is GM's Body Control Module and all of the other electronics. Here is the video if you didn't saw it: (cringe and Bullsh1t warning for those who never watched Supercar Blondie)
It is probally the body kit that make it look like that or it is the way she's standing next to it with the camera that make it look longer because anyways, the video is full of bullsh1t for sure. Or even editing
Not the camera, It's definitely actually that long. If it were the camera, she'd be wide as well. If it's a C8 under there, it's been stretched. Also, according to the video, only that prototype is supposed to have the C8 stuff. I don't 100% believe it though, I'll believe it when the production model is released, not a rebodied C8, and put on a dyno.
Exactly. --- Post updated --- She said “The client wanted a V8 engine in it.” Like if we would all believe that.
I flipped through the video, didn't notice that. That's a flat-out lie, nobody would prefer a regular V8 over a 5k horsepower V16 in that car. Just on the resale and collector value, the V16 would be worth more. It makes no sense.
So , the V16 was featured years ago at a showroom and also has a dyno test video. I Can't really believed that the engine is Fake. And it Never got that fast because the tires were probably not ready : to give you an Idea, the veyron was very hard to develop (10 years and billion dollars in it) , because the main was the tire's endurance, wich needed to resist high temperature. And for a car that goes to over 500 km/h , the tires may need a bit more developpment. It's one of the many problems that made the Sixteen hard , impossible to make --- Post updated --- Add the "so stop saying bullsh*it"
Yes but, the dyno maybe fake. Or, if the engine is real, it will probally only last a 1000 milles. And probally all the 3 will only last a 1000 milles.
