With the new update I am noticing when exiting the game it seems the aspect ratio gets changed to where my borders are messed up on my desktop. I have an HDMI cord connected to my T.V. that I like to play BeamNG on. My main monitor is a 16:9 1920x1080 native while my T.V. is a 16:10 1680x1050 native which when having my HDMI cord plugged in the T.V aspect/resolution takes priority. When exiting the game it seems to trap my desktop resolution to the monitors aspect ratio and no matter how much I try to change the resolution under display settings it does not fix the aspect ratio. So far the only things I have found to fix this is to restart my computer or to start up a different game then exit. I am running windows 10.

Never had this problem, and I'm running on two monitors with two different ratios.
Try playing the game in borderless.

Just tried it. Did not fix the issue. I do have it set to "Duplicate these Displays" under display settings. Its not a major issue for me since the fix is simple. Just wanted the devs to know. I want to say its something to do with the Nvidia control panel software on windows 10 and its DPI scaling.

I just clicked the "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" under compatibility for the .exe and had no change in behavior. I also tried to reproduce the problem on my second monitor which has the same aspect ratio but different resolution and the problem did not persist.

So I did figure out it is beamng's doing. I went to my Nvidia control panel and under "Adjust desktop size and position" and check "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs" it fixes the issue.

    Good to know.
But in the first bunch of options, is it set to keep the proportions or not?

That it is. After testing some other game it seems that not all but a few other games do the same thing, so it going to be an issue on my end. What I find odd is I never have seen this before so it must have been caused by a recent windows update.
