Demo version of my mod in repository ? (because it edit game files)

    Hi,
    Am i allowed to put a demo version of my mod (Better Sounds Mod) with no game files editing and put a link to the full version on the forum?
    Like this people that never go to the forum can see it

    Then what's the purpose of having it on the repository?
    What are people downloading from the repository entry exactly?

    Because some people don't go on the forum when they look for mods. They just go in the mod section on the top of the site and they miss most of the mods.

    Yes, but having something on the repository implies you get something when you click download.
    What do they get when they click download?

    If nothing related to the mod, then no. You cannot use the repository as placeholder to redirect people on the forum...

    I will upload a demo version of the mod with only feature that doesn't edit the main files like dirt sound. But if they want all the features i redirect then on the forum
