Is it ok to delete the old versions and files of the game or is it safe to do so? It takes up storage in my pc.

Open the BeamNG launcher, go to Support Tools > Clear Cache > Old Versions Cache Cleaning. This should do exactly what you are looking for, completely safely.

most likely, yes. your game will only use the files on the current version its using. you can remove cache, or just delete any folder under 0.31 that you dont want to keep.

Saving old versions have no use except for showing how long you have been playing, just a waste of 1.6 GB every folder
