Okay your enthusiasm is commendable, but two things. 1) You're gonna get flamed for reposting a Russian mod. Those forums are strongly frowned upon for using stolen models and working with pirated versions of the game, directly stealing money from the developers. 2) You're gonna get flamed for uploading something you've done no work to (although you did credit some nameless Russians, and the source). The general rule is: Have some progress to report or don't upload it here. You can ask for help, but starting with a stolen .jbeam and a badly ported model thrown together in a language you can't read is not the right way.
Then just don't do it, because if you hate remaking them, then why make a thread like this in the first place? (maybe its just a construct of thought you formulated over the course of this forums' existence idk.) Also, you do know that Russian mods (and remakes, which most are never finished because the forum or zip file are taken down) are notorious for being badly constructed (and not worth the effort in fixing.) This is something people frown upon, and maybe next time please consider the affects of putting forums like this up. I'm only saying this,as i will reiterate,because i'm looking out for you...
It's not that you can't remake them it's just you have too show improvement and get forum members help Join a group like beamo or reworked Russian mods
