You know how, in the Need For Speed titles 2006 and newer, you can customise everything from the color and shade of the window tint, to the suspension height, to the diameter of the exhaust pipe? I think BeamNG should have something like this.
I wouldn't think this feature is necessary plus some of those things can be done by tweaking the files. this game isn't rice simulator 2015.
Since beam has a physics system that would make it quite easy to ruin a car with upgrades (see: stanced pessima) I could go for something like this. They have been touting the customization in the game for a while now, and it would be pretty cool to see all off the vanilla cars actually get the level of options that modders have been adding in for them (aka the D-Troxx or AR162B treatment). HOWEVER, these things take time, and to me, I'd rather they spent it on something more substantial. People have been asking AR why he isn't a dev yet for a while, but I honestly think he could get a lot done on the dev team. He goes through the cars that he mods very carefully and adds parts for all the right reasons. A finished mod from him is of equal quality to a finished car from the devs. Due to that, I think he would be a good candidate for another "parts guy"; one of the devs who goes through and fleshes out existing cars with more options and parts. PS. could you please not force us to vote to see the results? Sometime you don't care for either option and just want to see the lay of the land.
