Dakar Rally in BeamNG.Drive

Hello Everyone!
I am planning a large Dakar Rally event on my map of the world (A link can be found here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/the-world.100525/ )

The idea is that over a few days, different categories will race each other to go from Cape town in South Africa to Dakar in Senegal via Cairo in Egypt.

There are different categories for entry available and anyone is welcome to join, although there are limited spaces. the selected people will be the youtubers THEN it will be completely random.

The path you race on is not set, you can drive where you want to in order to achieve first place. all racers will set off at the same time and will all start next to each other. You must visit Cairo before going to Dakar. If you fail to reach Cairo and go straight to Dakar then you will not be counted and will be disqualified.

The maximum number of Members is not set as of now, but it may be from 8 - 14 racers + 2 spectators for judging

Please also record the full race even if it is only at 30fps or less. This will be helpful to prevent cheating.

Further rules may be added later on as I have not finalised everything.

Do you know roughly how many spaces youll be opening besides the youtubers? Is it basically limited by how well the game performs with so many people or limited by beammp server slot limits?

 

It's probably limited by performance client side. And how many spaces besides youtubers I am not sure. I need a lot of entries from people at the moment and need to get in touch with some youtubers too.
