REPO DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE HERE https://www.beamng.com/resources/nascar-gavril-d-series-craftsman-race-truck.29604/ Ya boy is finally back at it again with yet another stock car mod for Beamng! I present to my latest project, an early 2000's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series style race truck modeled off of the Gavril D-Series Pickup Truck Features Custom Modeled Interior Unique Engine Model Heavily modified D-Series Jbeam and physics Fully adjustable modified suspension Many more to come! This mod is still a WIP so many things still have to be jbeamed, modeled, textured, ect, especially physics and crashing. Q/A Does it blowover? No, but I'm hoping to achieve this when I begin working on the aero dynamics, and physics. Is it hard to drive? Yes, I mainly focus on realistic handling, and driving when it comes to my mods so you will need either a controller or a steering wheel to drive this truck properly. Is it a separate mod from the D-Series? No, this mod falls under the "Mods of mods" category because its base still uses the D-Series itself and many other misc things from it. How can I make skins? Because this mod uses the D-Series as its base, any skins that you have/made that work on the D-Series will still work on this as I have not nor plan to make any major body changes that will change the skin template. Will it have its own custom sound? Yes, it may not be from scratch but likely modified to fit the truck similar to how I did the Wendover Stock Car. It will also have its own custom exhaust which I haven't modeled yet. Is this a continuation of the previous D-Series NASCAR mod that was a WIP? No, this mod has nothing to do with that older mod. I ended up getting in contact with the person who was working on that mod and they unfortunately do not and any intentions of finishing and releasing that mod in the future, otherwise I wouldn't have made this. Any other questions feel free to ask down below
Mate most people have been waiting for a truck mod for ages now and you come out with this? Its a bloody piece of art mate and one question when the blowover as you said will you have to be fully backwards for it to work or like with the winston cup car in the 90s kind of side ways and kind of backwards for it to work? --- Post updated --- And will you have to put different gravitys for it?
Do you have plans on making a custom "one-size-fits-all" front front or a front clip that is intended to make it "look" like the actual production model to match the more recent generation for the truck series?
Not sure what DFA is but as for the fascias, there is only one as i'd have to modify make multiple different front braces for the different fronts.
