CVT gearbox question

Is there a way to have two different RPM settings (ie, D has a max RPM of ~2000 and S ~6000) with the CVT gearbox? Can I set this in my powertrain jBeam its vehicleController?

 

Doesn't the CVT already do something like that? Take a look at the Sunburst's one

 

The sunburst CVT seems a bit weird to me, it goes to nearly redline if you floor it even in regular mode, while my irl nissan shitbox doesnt go past 4,5k unless in sport mode. You most likely change it by editing the ShiftUpRPM parameters for sport mode and regular mode.
