Custom Police Cars For Traffic Chase

    Hey, I've been playing around with being a Police in the Traffic system and notice something that bugs me a bit.
    You can do random police chases with the sirens on with Native Cars, and Mod Added Cars, But, when you custom the configs, then save the configs, and then reselect the new Police Car you just made with the sirens on, you are no longer able to get into a random Police chase with that new config you made.

    Is this a bug, or is there a way to get the random case to work with your own custom police car?
    Also when you change the Light Bar, the chase also stops working.

    The only thing that happens is the cars will move out of your way with sirens on.

    All depends on what light bar you use. If it has "police" in the name it should work, otherwise not. Don't ask me why it's just how they coded it in the traffic code.

    Nope, it still doesn't allow a random vehicle to flee and start a chase with custom cars,
    My Mods are deactivated, forgot to say that, but I've been trying to use the Led police light bar, but after trying all the other police light bar, you only get cars
    to pull over, but not a random chase with your customs.

    To clarify What I'm trying to do is:
    Get a Random car chase with a Custom config car with a police light bar on.

    Well that must be a bug in the game then. Report it in the bug reporting thread.

    its because the jbeam files think of it as a custom config instead of a police config. Same thing with other custom configs, if you set them as traffic cars they dont change color.

    But then why does pulling over work but escaping not? Shouldn't it be the other way round? This must be a bug.

    It's wired right, it sees it as a police light bar, but it also doesn't, maybe there is a way to tell Jbeam that I want this to be a police car config.
    because again the police mods work, and the native police cars work, just not your config,
    and yes I did disable all mods when testing it again, same thing, very weird.

    You can save the config and add the info.json file to it where you set the type as police, that will work. But it's really weird that it doesn't work now when it should

    Pulling over works with the police sirens. You can tell its not just light bars because when the light bar is on but sirens are off, nothing happens. When sirens are on they do pull over. The part itself is linked to pulling over, but not chases as realistically a chase wont start with sirens on. The type of vehicle in the jbeam files also links to whether the colors will change or not. It is a bug, but has been for a while now. For some reason having the siren part installed does not directly link to it being a police vehicle.

    Oh, that makes sense, because the ambulance has a siren too so in this case "pulling over" is just making way for it

    So weird, you would think it's hard codded into the light bar, but it's not, interesting,
    make since.

    So, would you say there is a way to go into the files with your config and tell JBeam that its a police config, or is this tied into modding and coding?
