Hey guys, I work with a simulator manufacturer, and have a project that will likely involve a chunk of custom map (and vehicle) development. I'm a bit out of the loop on who's doing what in the BeamNG space, so I'm posting to ask who I ought to be talking to for for-hire map dev. The project will require three chunks of terrain, only a couple of minutes of driving-length each, but with top-notch production value and lots of terrain detail (since we make motion platforms!). This is a pro-level project, and we expect to pay commensurately, not try to squeeze anyone to do work for 'exposure' or minimum wage because it's fun work. That's crap. If anyone knows who I should be talking to, or if you're the people I should be talking to, let me know!
1. Nobeam 2. Bifdro 3. Barbent Servo GT These are the most talented members when it comes to maps, I don't know if this is actually legit, but these three make maps with a lot of detail and passion. Just letting you know, they all have concurrent projects right now so I'm unsure of whether they would have the time to take up this job offer.
Haha, it's legit! I know, it's an unusual thing. Legit doesn't mean the project is greenlit but I'm doing homework to assess options and hopefully get a sense of pricing and delivery timelines. And I'm showing up with a new account and all that... The pain is that since these projects are relatively high-profile I can't disclose details or the client, which makes everything look ten times as sketchy!
