Criminal traffic does not go above 35 mph when running from player cop car. EDIT:new update fixed it

    As title says, when spawning traffic via the AI selection in the menu, they spawn in and start driving correctly. Now, when driving a police car, criminal traffic will occasionally start running from the player, BUT they never go above 35mph. in the past they would go very fast and it would be exceptionally difficult to catch faster cars which resulted in some pretty thrilling chases. Now, they never go above 35mph (they also seem to weave back and forth along the center line in the roads, crisscrossing it over and over again).

    The main reason i love playing this game is the police chases (combined with the amazing crash physics). Having a police chase is basically impossible atm with how the ai is acting when they start running from the player.

    Now, when spawning in a vehicle and switching to another, and then selecting the "flee" option in the ai section, the cars flee properly (this is without traffic enabled). So this has something to do with the traffic AI specifically. Is there some kind of slider to allow them to actually speed and run away now or is this a bug? please help

    Also, when the criminal starts running my police sirens will turn on and off automatically for about 10 seconds before giving me control over them again. I'm not sure if that is intended or is a bug, but a toggle for that action would be better than taking control away from the player.


    EDIT: the new update today fixed both of these issues, so all is good. Thanks for keeping the game great guys
