This mod is very cool and the race version reminds me of 80's touring cars but the roll cage grows on impact. -> Normal -> 100 km/h frontal impact -> 300 km/h side impact
So far great, I just noticed that doors were popping open way too often, It is because the door latches Beamdeform and Stregth are from old version of the covet, right now in 0.5.6.1 the values are: "{"beamDeform":13000,"beamStrength":26000}" while in this mod they're: "{"beamDeform":8580,"beamStrength":18360}" Here are the updated files if you want to update the mod. I also noticed this (Don't know why it happens):
With the Race Covet Sedan, I can stabilize drifts. Also, skins DO work, but they're absent in the boot.

Not a mod problem, happens in in the regular covet too. Maybe not as bad, but its still a problem with the hatch, not the mod. fixed mind if i include those files in the mod? credit will be given,.
No problem, That's what I want you to do. (And really, I just copy pasted the latch values from the Covet in the content folder, only the latches, the whole door Jbeam probably needs to be update). I really don't think that I deserve credits for something incomplete. xd
to make the skins work you would have to add a skins slot in the jbeam or copy the one from the covet and add a second uv map
It's still happening, also it is much weaker than the original covet when I should have been the other way around, given the shorter distance between the A and B Pillars in the sedan:
what speed was that? also the weakness i believe is in the base i used, the 5 door covet. Ill try to see if i can do anything about it though.
