Copyright stuff

Does that mean that even skins have to follow the "no-real company" rule ? I released a skin from a French delivery company in my H-Series pack and got no trouble so far, so I am kinda curious about this. Also so other skins with other copyrighted trademarks, generally delivery vehicles.

 

Well, I don't think the company will ever figure out, and I don't think anyone would care.

I think it wouldn't be allowed on repository with no permission, but I'm no copyright expert.

As far as copyright goes, this shouldnt be allowed. You cant use real brands for any skins without permission, like you said. Still, I dont think a french delivery company would mind if there was a skin with their logo

 

I agree, And if the mod is high quality it may work as publicity for the company, so may be they wont mind about these thing

 

I highly doubt that a company would like countless videos on youtube showing cars with their logos being crashed, set on fire, exploded, thrown off cliffs, thrashed with node grabber etc

 

This fate happened to the Bluebird type D. As soon as the company searched they're name up, boom, a thousand videos of 150 Mph collisions. Not good for reputation.
