Theres no cars at all, its a STARTER KIT It's similar to a TEMPLATE Its made for you to make the cars YOURSELF there are NO CARS INCLUDED Why do you think this is in the "Content Creation" section? It's to help you make your content. If it was a mod it would be in "Vehicles" or "Mods and Skins"
this is before I checked the file OK, now I get it and I find this very useless, or your explanations are very bad. So this is a "kit" on how to make a configuration mod right ? First off, from the pic you provided so graciously, only one or two of these files are "useful", and it's the .json one, and maybe the text file. The image is useless since it depends on the car you mod. The folder is even more useless, who doesn't know how to create a folder ? Nobody. That's what I concluded when I saw this marvellous image. And then, now that I downloaded this file, just in case I was missing something, I realise this isn't only a "configuration mod starter kit", since you're talking about add-on parts, so some of this stuff belongs to "Mods of Mods"... So now I think you didn't explain it correcly, and that this could be useful to someone on this forum, but next time, be more specific about what you're trying to say, because here even the title of the thread was confusing.
Configuration A certain assortment of parts or items into a specific order Mod A modification or change to an object Starter The start of an event or a person who starts something Kit An assortment of tools used to do a task I think the title was fine, and this is meant for somebody who actually understands text tutorials, not explaining something to somebody who most likely already has inside knowledge on the subject. This was created for someone who doesn't know shit whatsoever about BeamNG modding, and wants to make something early on. If you don't have any positive feedback on how to fix it, change it, and you're just going to bitch and moan about this, you can fuck off.
The thing is, for a starter kit, you'd have thought it would be worth repackaging it correctly at least? A ton of readmes etc do seem overkill when it could have been done far simpler.
It's because I don't want somebody with no modding knowledge whatsoever to miss a step or do something wrong so theres instructions literally everywhere
You'd be better off making a detailed tutorial on this forum, instead of making us download a file with some folder we don't even need in some cases. Here people can sak for help and work together at least. And here, configuration mods are .pc, .json and .png files in a folder, no matter what you say, just check the Mods section, so the title is confusing. This is a Mods of Mods and Configuration mod starter kit. I don't know if you even should write a tutorial though, your explanation skills seem to be very poor.
