So i wanted to go look for new mods in the repo in-game but when i opened the repo i just saw a message saying that the connection to the server could not be established. this is the first time this happened. as you can see in the picture i do have a internet connection. it can't be mods since i haven't downloaded new ones since more than a week ago. i recently changed the user folder location. could that be a problem (all my installed mods show up in the mod tab tho)?

As the game and our server did not change since your post, this pushes more toward the 'external software' caused issue.
Perhaps whatever software was causing this got an update which changed how it works. Just an hypothesis.

If you figure what was it, let us know, it can be helpful :)

I had the same problem, my antivirus (BT Virus protect) stopped Beam from establishing an internet connection and when I went into the software and removed beam from "suspicious files" it worked fine.

So I would check your antivirus.

well i only have windows defender and it didn't say it had blocked beam. anyway i don't really care what caused it as long as it works.

Fair enough, as long as it works I guess.
