i was just thinking, there is a computers u have had thread, but no how they have died. so i thought why not make one. any way i have killed 3 computers in my life one: a Compaq presario from 1998 i put windows ten on it and it died painfully, i just feel sorry for its 256mb ram and its GHz single core AMD processor. two: a Fujitsu laptop which was dropped of a desk which murdered the screen and some bits inside it and then it got to the point where it would not start up. and three: a dell optiplex gx620 which i overheated by putting a corei3 inside it which fried all the circuits and it died a horrible death, but i soon made all of the bits from inside it into a diagram at school.
I have killed one I think... I have no idea what it was, I just know it got a virus from a website and then died.
Spilled water into a school laptops' intake fan when it ran underneath due to a slanted table. I just logged off and left it in a really awkward place
A Dell GX 260 randomly died on my one morning. Wouldn't start up, but everything was fine from the outside. CPU was dead cold so it wasn't getting any power. At least it lasted 12 years.
How did you install Windows 10 on a machine with less than 1GB of RAM? It's the minimum requirements, it won't install without at least that, Also, how did you install any Core i3 on an Optiplex GX620? It's a socket LGA 775 motherboard, and the oldest i3 ever made was for LGA 1156. so many questions...
ive only managed to kill a laptop i left a piece of choclate lying around near the fan choclate has melted and managed to get the fan stuck so it overheated and died --- Post updated --- ive only managed to kill a laptop i left a piece of choclate lying around near the fan choclate has melted and managed to get the fan stuck so it overheated and died
back then i didnt know sod all about computers and i thought it would fit, i put the core i3 in the machine, it didn't fit so i shoved it in with pressure damaging the cpu slot it overheated soon killing the computer. like i said i did not know alot about computers then i was only 12 and the win10 it started and it never finnished
I've never killed a computer. My laptop is pretty broken but that is a factory defect so I can't count that really.
My current desktop. I bought a new motherboard because the old ones(gigabyte ud3h) usb crapped itself and stopped working. But now the new one has artifacts on the igpu.
My friend broke a crombook from school before he dropped it and the screen just went black and white you could not see any thing else
I killed an E-Machine once, it was the best day of my life, it basically got full of dust, overheated, and died, so after that, my Gaming PC had its first case instead of being mounted to the wall lol.
