Hello. In this thread, you can report bugs, issues with Skybox mod. I will also try to provide support for anyone who wants to make their own preset. I will add detailed instructions on how to create a preset including later this month Euro Truck Simulator 2 Sky Pack https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Gz6QPtaAeebryxbUStn6tKvNDaNnpWka/view?usp=sharing
Can't wait to try it but just looking at the screenshot it makes the game looks so much better. Is there a chance this will be part of the base game eventually?
Very nice, saves me the work of trying to add skyboxes the "hard" way lol Anything in particular I need to do to get it to recognize the additional presets or are they meant to be loaded automatically? I have it installed but I still have just the original 10 presets to pick from. Did a quick test, and I think this can definitely improve my pictures
Hope this will be officially implemented in BeamNG in the future. This is amazing. I just have a little issue with Light Clouds 1, the sun isn't syncronized with the skybox sun. --- Post updated --- Same with Partly Cloudy 6.
this mod, just like the traffic mod BREATHES so much life into beam. doesn't really affect my fps aswell, just such a game changer for photography and just playing beam. Just top work my god. like holy hell ive been using different sky boxes in beam for a while now but this really does make the game FEEL real, didnt even know the reflections in the game could be this good lmao (plate on the scooby is scribbled out because it said something silly :3)
hello. i installed the extra 8 presets but i only have the stock 10 presets on the mod, is there some step i missed because i dont the see extra 8
Had a short trial with this, absolutely fantastic, adds another level to your screenshots. Not sure whether this is achievable or not...once the screenshot has been composed, vehicle and landscape in the position you want....could we move / spin the 'Skybox' around, say 360, maybe up and down a bit so to have a look at other areas of the cloudscape for visual purposes. Of course the function will mainly work best on the heavy cloudscapes with light and dark areas. Just thinking out loud. Just some quick examples. also testing out adding extra lighting in World Editor...perfect
