Ah, so they released it before it was ready and left out a trivial fix for an obvious bug. Figures

I stand corrected, but then why does the AWD understeer to the point of being unable to outmaneuver a city bus (even with ESC off) while the RWD handles superbly

Edit, I think it might have had to do with the default tires being wrong. Will test again on 0.25.3

Not really, I don't know where to put the jbeam file at, in the drivemode.jbeam or dse.jbeam? Is it possible to leave the Strada mode 12, and in Sport/Corse mode set it to 15?

Actually I tested a few days before 0.25 with the Vivace(by editing the 12 into 15 in the lua since idk where to put jbeam). Well, understeer was reduced with the price of brake overheating. SInce the Vivace is AWD based on FWD platform, making it RWD is impossible, so this was expected.
In the Kc6tx or the GTx it's technically possible to make in RWD when the vehicle is understeering via the awdControl.lua (this is NOT a wen relez please take your time)

At first, the default tires on the GTx variants were the All-Seasons. After the 0.25.3 Update, the devs changed them to the Sport Plus 2Rs the RWD variants had from the beginning. The All-Seasons make sense for the AWD variants under foul weather and road conditions, making these variants more adaptable, but since we're talking about a Supercar, the purpose of which is performance and handling, it's a very welcome change.

Can hardly call it adaptable if the turning circle is a straight line...

You're absolutely right but, then again, the All-Seasons aren't designed with high performance and high G-forces in mind. They're designed for peace of mind, offering longevity in a mix of different environments and weather conditions. The Sport Plus 2Rs are more specialized in high performance and, therefore, the more preferable tires for such a high-performance car.

As I suspected, even with the nice tires the AWD is completely unusable. Either fix the ESC and aero or don't add cars that need them

    Okay, uhh
The AWD might be entirely too fast. It's no wonder I was sliding off the track trying to corner at 70 mph :p

I really don't understand you guys sometimes... I just tested the AWD version with a super non scientific test against some other cars, accelerate to 150 km/h then try to make a 180° turn as sharply as possible without losing control, basically right at the edge of grip limit. After that I lined up the cars so that you could judge the difference in the overall turning radius.
    I tested a few cars:
    1. GTx with All Season
    2. SBR4 AWD TT S2
    3. eSBR 500
    4. Vivace S410Q
    5. GTx with the proper 2R tires from the latest hotfix
Guess what, the All Season GTx almost ties the SBR4 TT S2.... With All Seasons....
    Here's the result:

The pink Scintilla is the post-hotfix GTx with 2R tires, it beats the crap out of the rest. The blue Scintilla is the All Season GTx... Neatly fitting between two cars with much better tires. And then we have a loney eSBR just for fun. :D

So yea, I have no idea what you are on about when I see comments as such as this (not picking on you personally, your comment just fits too well)
I can only repeat what I've said a few other times, the Scintilla is wicked fast and when it's about acceleration, the GTx is really crazy. Watch for your speed.

Yep, sorry about that. I was going too fast and braking too hard.

Just to give you an idea of how fast the GTx is when it comes to pure acceleration...
GTx (AWD/pink) vs GTs (RWD/red) vs Vivace S410Q (AWD/green) (even the RWD GTs leaves the AWD Vivace without any chance...)

I have to say that, after testing the Scintilla for myself (as much as I can, with the anemic equipment I have at the moment) and after watching some videos about the car and searching more for the Brake Steer technology, the way the new traction and differential systems work in this car definitely grew on me. The name of this differential may be a bit deceiving at first ("Open" while being electronically adjustable in reality, so not open at all times and on all modes/driving conditions) but the locking is there and it really does its job. Plus, I watched the Extra Mile's video and he drove it seriously, testing the Drift mode along the way. He is a good driver, so I don't think he had the Oversteer Reduction Assistance on, especially since he has a full-on simrig. My opinion after the Extra Mile's video is that the Drift mode is like Ferrari's SSC (or "Side Slip-angle Control").

As for your tests, they say it all. Even the All-Seasons are better than I expected - though I completely understand the purpose of such a tire, which is not pure performance but rather longevity in a broad spectrum of driving and weather conditions. And the differentials worked like they should to put the power down on the acceleration test. Even if the Vivace S 410Q Arsenic had built up some boost to launch a bit faster and even if it was on Arsenic mode (which gives some more boost and, therefore, more power and torque), it still wouldn't have held a candle.

One detail I noticed in your drag race: the GTs and GTx variants should have the 9000rpm Sport ECU and not the 8600rpm Stock one because their description boxes say they have "a higher revving engine". ;)

You need to take this car around an actual RACE TRACK to understand why people think this car handles terribly. Doing tests in grid small pure has almost zero bearing on how this car handles in practice. Yes, this car accelerates quicker than most cars in the game. No, it does not take a track such as the Nurburgring, Circuit de la Sarthe, or Hirochi Raceway as well as a frickin 1983 Toyota Trueno. (Even the group 5 Bolide handles better) It understeers like crazy at high speed, no matter if it's AWD or RWD, or whether or not it has a rear wing. You COULD improve this car by adding a front lip that provides around 100-200 pounds of downforce. (No, it's not crazy to have frontal downforce on a car like this. Cars like the Koenigsegg Agera or the Lamborghini Aventador have frontal downforce.) This is why cars like the Honda NSX have professional race car drivers (such as Ayrton Senna) to test the car's track performance. So they can test the car, provide their feedback, and the engineers can improve the car according to their feedback.

It's all about speed and respecting the car's limits. The Scintilla has a very high limit and the new technologies it features help spectacularly on that front too. But in the end, they're not enough by themselves. The driver is always the weakest link.

Testing the car on an actual track? Crazy idea, if only someone would have thought of that before release.

Oh wait, I know, that's what my colleagues and I have been doing for literal weeks of time... (that includes WCA, Hirochi, Spa, Nürburgring...)

Seriously, I'm always open for a nice and level-headed discussion on these things, in my specific case mostly the development and setup of the electronics, but saying the car handles terribly just shows that either your game is broken, you don't use proper input devices and input technics or you simply don't know what you are talking about / expect some arcade handling that you are not gonna get here.
