Its rough a lot. I put it here instead of the Repository just because here i won't have to care if it will become outdated or if it won't fit the repository quality requirements. This is my land, and nobody can remove it because of quality control because nobody will care here. There are bugs, some parts deform in weird ways, from time to time it juggles weirdly but otherwise it should be okay for the most time and fun to throw around and cruises alongside the burnside real smooth. Also, it is based off a real old d15 jbeam and models, so there will be some roughness I stripped it off some stuff that were either broken or that i didn't want to put into public hands, so no stuff like, blower, or super secret stuff i had on this as a testing mule to keep secret on the forum still. Really cool truck, and very nice of you to make it public. Thank you! Just a thing: it kind of replaces the D-Series. I say kind of because the standard D-15 spawns at the beginning as always and I can configure it as always, but if I go into the vehicle selection menu it doesn't appear. Deleted, cleared the cache, reinstalled, it still does it. Edit: sorry, wasn't your mod that caused it. Me dumb :-/
I like it so far, but there are some things to note: -The transmission is all kinds of messed up, 1st gear tops out at 20kph, or at least it says so because the car won't move in 1st, and from 3rd to 4th there is a gigantic 4k or so rev drop. -The truck is a bit too small, it isn't much bigger than the covet, and these 50s trucks were pretty big. A good way to tell is by looking at the engine, it's way out of proportion. -The torquecurve seems a bit weird, like the engine has a massive dip in the higher revs, but I'm not sure of that.
this was originally released in january now its just been reposted because of the group system being shitty also btw the gear ratios are of a real Chevy 3100, same with engine specs.
Ermmm, the post was on February 3 And the last post was on January 6, before the guy that posted on February 3, so, that's not a bump Otherwise, good mod
*cough* the last message supposed to be 6th january before this silent thread was bumped on 3rd february --- Post updated --- but its over half a month ago
