I would like to see some sort of checkpoint system implemented...

When you are struggling up a crazy difficult trail, it would be nice to be able to save your progress somehow.

Ctrl-R, (reset in place) doesn't work well for this, as it moves the vehicle, and often turns it around 180 degrees, Also if you Ctrl-R in a bad spot, and get hung up, you have to exit the game, as there is then no way to reset to the starting position (afaik)

Either a map based checkpoint system or a hotkey based system would be great, as long as it set the car in the exact position it was in, without bouncing ect...

Yes! This in my mind is the most important thing for the game right now.

If you get in a bad spot with ctrl + R just keep hitting it and you'll move a bit and wiggle out.

I also made it so when you press the left stick on the xbox360 controller it resets, then its down on the dpad to reset to that point. It was weird at first, but now i'm really used to it, and wouldnt want to change it.

The only thin i'd change it so you reset facing the same way as you did originally.

Ok... My advice still stands, in you case just keep clicking the left stick to get out of a bad spot.
