I have a very, very shit PC. I want is something that can run a map like ECU with one car with at least 25fps on Low. My current one runs Grid Map at 12 fps, so it's a pain to do anything. Especially on a map like ECU. Also, I'm not into building PCs, so I wouldn't want something I have to build. I plan to save up for the next few months, years, whatever it takes and feed myself off school's shit food. Also doing work, stuff, idk.

I haven't really posted much like this type of thread so apologies if this is in the wrong section.

G4400+8gb ram x1+400w psu and the cheapest lga 1151 mobo. No need for a gpu with what you ask. Great options to upgrade with this idea.

A desktop of some sort is really the only way to go, even higher end laptops will just not come close to a similarly priced desktop in terms of performance and have no upgrade-ability at all.

Building isn't hard at all either, watch a few videos online and you will have it down. Not worth paying someone a few $100 to do it for you.

Either way CPU wise I'd say a Ryzen 1600 or 1700 are the best bet out there currently. In terms of BeamNG they beat just about anything else out there and they are pretty future proof with a decent upgrade path if you wanted to.

GPU could be pretty tricky, costs are all over the place at the moment with miners and VRAM shortages so you may have to wait a while or shop around to get anything decent, however something like a 3gb 1060 seems to be a card that has stayed somewhat cost effective. Another alternative would be a 970 or 980 which would give better performance but you would be buying used.
