I was looking through the forums and I saw people saying G27 but its like 400 dollars and my parents wont agree to buy it for me. So I need a steering wheel that works well for BeamNG and/or American Truck Sim, and it has to be like 200 or under.

    I got you man... https://www.amazon.com/Steering-Racing-Driving-Shifters-3-pedal-Desktop/dp/B08MT7PY4J/ref=sr_1_13?crid=16YO7M21BCLL&keywords=steering+wheel+pedals+for+pc&qid=1704300281&refinements=p_72:1248885011&rnid=1248883011&s=videogames&sprefix=steeringwheel+pedals+for+pc,videogames,102&sr=1-13

It doesn't have force feedback but it can go from 270 to 900 degrees, has a 6 speed shifter, and a full pedal set.

PS. I don't have one, but I'm looking into it.

Hell no, that's a waste of money. Cheapest option should be something like the Thrustmaster T128 or a T150/TMX. Next better option T248 or Logitech G29 / G920

How about pre-owned? I think you should be able to find a used G27 at this price range.

Where are you finding a g27 for $400? They aren't made anymore. You can easily find used g920s or g29s for under $200 locally. I wouldn't get anything worse than that as most cheap new wheels don't have force feedback.

Thats what I started with, it only had 2 pedals and 180-degree steering, but it was a lot of fun anyway. Dont knock it till you've tried it.

By the way, this is the 2 pedal 180 degree wheel I talked about. https://www.amazon.com/Serafim-Raci...eogames&sprefix=serafim,videogames,130&sr=1-4

I recommend looking around on Facebook Marketplace, ebay or similar local services for a g29 or similar. The G29 has ok force feedback, lots of buttons and is pretty easy to install. You can get both a automatic version (Brake, Gas and paddle shifters) or a manual one (clutch, brake, gas, paddle shifters, H shifter). I'm sure there are other good steering wheels out there but this is one I have some experience with. The only issues I know of are a somewhat rare software bug where the centering spring (simulated, not an actual spring) is on full force, but that can be resolved by un and replugging the wheel's usb cable (at least that worked for me). It can also get quite noisy with strong force feedback, and if you use 100% FFB strength for an extended period of time and tighten the table clamps a lot they can break (one did for me at least). A new wheel for 200$ is probably not gonna be the best investment, that's why i think you should look around for something used. Hope this helps

You'll get what you pay for. Bear in mind a high price for a G27 may be justified because they have always been very good wheels. Mine will be 10 years old this year if it makes it to August. Problem with used market is you don't know how much abuse they've had of course.

a used g27 is about 150/200 dollars, just look better, or get a pxn wheel (not good but its the cheapest thing that is acceptable)

yep, not good but its somewhat acceptable, or just get an old thrustmaster wheel, it will be prob 2 pedals and 180 degrees but atleast it has no deadzone and its pretty reliable
